FIFA has officially opened a Regional Development Office (RDO) in Johannesburg, South Africa. The announcement occurred during the 2025 Africa Cup of Nations final in Rabat, Morocco. FIFA President Gianni Infantino and South Africa’s Minister of Sport, Arts and Culture, Gayton McKenzie, signed the host agreement there.
